报告摘要:Fractional Chern insulators (FCIs) have attracted intensive attention for the realization of fractional quantum Hall states in the absence of an external magnetic field. Most FCIs have been proposed on two-dimensional Euclidean lattice models with various boundary conditions.

In this talk, I will present our recent research on the hyperbolic FCIs which are the FCI states extended in the hyperbolic geometry with constant negative curvature. I will talk about topological flat bands constructed in the hyperbolic analogs of kagome lattices and the hyperbolic Haldane model. Through the studies on these topological flat band models with hard-core bosons loaded, we find convincing numerical evidences of the v=1/2FCI. According to the edge excitations and trial many-body wave functions, this v=1/2FCI can be identified. Intriguingly, the intrinsic geometry in the FCI can be revealed.

报告人简介:何爱垒,扬州大学博彩平台 副教授。2019年博士毕业于南京大学,2019-202年在清华大学高等研究院从事博士后研究,2021年进入扬州大学博彩平台博彩平台工作。研究方向为强关联博彩平台和拓扑物态,近期主要关注强关联体系中的拓扑序与分数化,非欧几何中的拓扑物态与强关联博彩平台,二维材料的拓扑特性等。已在Physical Review系列期刊发表学术论文20余篇,主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、中国博士后面上基金项目各1项。
